Honey Vanilla Lemonade

The weather is about 84 here degrees today. I just sipped three quarters of a glass of honey-vanilla lemonade my daughter just made me. What a refresher for a day like today. Lemonade is usually something we look forward to in the summer; however, today felt a little like it so we made an exception. Now I’m really feeling like summer! Here’s the recipe.

6 lemons (squeeze away or replace with Real Lemon juice)
1 small squirt of vanilla (about a teaspoon)
1 cup honey
Raw sugar to taste
Fill a pitcher to make a gallon

Mix this up well and chill. I like to place a few of the lemon halves in the pitcher for a few hours and then remove them. Leaving them in gives the lemonade a rindy taste.
