Garlic Hummus With Kefir

Just made a tasty hummus dip for the kids. Instead of using sour cream, I used kefir and it turned out splendidly! Here’s the recipe:

16 oz of Cooked Hummus, drained
1 TBS Minced Garlic
1/2 to 3/4 cup Kefir
Salt to taste
A Handful of Fresh Cilantro
A Drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Lemon Juice

Place all ingredients except olive oil into the blender and blend until smooth. Add a drizzle of olive oil (about 1/4 cup) and blend to a creamy paste. Let stand in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Yum!
